Another day in the sun

Hola!

Today has been a very nice and relaxing day. I slept till about 13:00 o'clock, and then I went out to lunch with my parents at our local golfclub in Andratx, where they have this great restaurant. The rest of the day was spent by the pool, where I spoke a bit with our neighbours who also are danish.

One thing I don't understand, is why there are so many germans on the island. There are almost more germans than spanish people. When I walk through town, it's as if the germans have taken over there too (no offence). Over half of the restaurants and shops have german names .. Even all the signs are in german. And spanish of course. Sometimes english too. But I guess the spanish locals don't really mind, since their income from tourism probably relies on the germans.
Lately I've actually heard quite a few danes too, more than last summer at least. And of course we have the good ol' english people .. Who are the biggest sponsors of the restaurants and pubs, with all their eating and drinking - don't take it personally :D.

Anyway, my day has been good. Later on I'll go down to the pool for my traditional evening swim. I like it in the evening, cause the water is a lot warmer.
Tomorrow I don't know what I'll be doing .. It's my last day here, so I guess I'll just be lying by the pool, getting even more tan 8D .. Aww, I'm missing my sunglass/cool smiley :o
